With over two decades in the trades. two skilled craftsmen built their careers mastering the art of quality workmanship. One specialized in home renovations, custom home building, and interior design, working on exclusive and opulent residences throughout Toronto and Muskoka. In these stunning homes, every detail was thoughtfully curated — from luxury interiors to beautifully landscaped yards complete with pools and elegant outdoor living spaces.

The second craftsman built his reputation in finish carpentry and high-quality millwork, completing projects across commercial, residential, and institutional sectors. His portfolio includes precision millwork installations for schools, hospitals, nursing homes, office buildings, malls, and libraries. His work demanded accuracy, durability, and a deep understanding of wood — qualities that became foundational to Teak Care’s standards.

Together, their backgrounds formed the perfect partnership: one with a keen eye for design and luxury environments, the other with extensive technical expertise in fine woodworking and millwork systems.

All of the spaces they worked in had picture perfect interiors and thoughtfully designed outdoor seating areas, yet one important element was often overlooked — their valuable patio furniture. Left neglected and greyed, it developed a dull, weathered, and unkempt appearance that diminished the overall beauty of the space.

That was it - the light-bulb had gone off. After tremendous amounts of research and experimentation with restoring teak wood, they learned two things - it's very tedious and labour intensive, and the end result is always worth it!
